WINTER JAM NYC
Bringing a Winter Sports Wonderland to Central Park

Saturday, January 26
11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Bandshell, Central Park - Enter at 72nd Street

Join Parks for the biggest snow festival in the City! Winter Jam NYC brings winter fun back to Central Park with Lake Placid Snow Field activities like cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, skiing and snowboarding, right in the heart of NYC. More experienced riders can show off their skills by signing up for the Red Bull MetroRail, an open snowboard and ski rail jam. Visitors can take a break from the cold and enjoy some après-ski snacks in the Pride of New York Winter Market or the Unreal Candy Unjunked Ice Lounge.

The first time Doggie Snow Zone will also feature a snow park with agility equipment for your pooch, an ‘Ask the Expert’ booth featuring canine behaviorists, celebrity dog stylist, a doggie treat bar, and more!

Parks Commissioner Veronica White will join Olympic Regional Development Authority President & CEO Ted Blazer, professional skier Ashley Caldwell and professional snowboarder Ty Walker to kick off this celebration of FREE winter sports and fun in Central Park!

Winter Jam NYC 2013 is presented by the NYC Parks Department, I Love NY and Lake Placid, and sponsored by Red Bull, REI, Mountain Creek, Unreal Brands, Cabot Cheese, Unleashed by Petco, Radio Disney, L Magazine, and DNAinfo.

QUOTATION OF THE DAY

“So when you're cold
From the inside out
And don't know what to do,
Remember love and friendship,
And warmth will come to you.”
