Wi-Fi in Parks
The City and AT&T have announced a five-year initiative to provide free Wi-Fi service at 26 locations in 20 New York City parks across the five boroughs. AT&T Wi-Fi is now available free of charge to park visitors in all five boroughs with additional park locations to follow throughout the year.
New Yorkers will be able to stay connected with their smartphones, tablets and other Wi-Fi enabled devices as they enjoy everything City parks, big and small, have to offer. AT&T Wi-Fi at City parks is free for all users.
The specific locations where Wi-Fi will be available within these parks will be announced as available.
To connect to the internet through one of the free AT&T Wi-Fi access points in parks, simply look for and select the network name “attwifi” in the list of networks in your device’s Wi-Fi settings screen. That’s it - no username or password is required.
