Reach 10: Upstream of Dam 3
The Snuff Mill Dam established a run-of-the-river impoundment, within the scenic narrow forested valley of the Botanical Garden. This river reach has been inundated to a greater or lesser extent over the last 100 years as the dam height varied by 1-1.5 feet. The Botanical Gardens Wetlands on the banks of the river are fed by the Twin Ponds.
