Ages 55 and up. We offer bid whist, cards and crafts. Every fourth Friday of the month seniors can participate in a pancake breakfast. Registration is required.

A seated exercise class that raises the heart rate and improves balance, with minimal impact on joints. This class taught by an instructor who is in the Shape Up NYC Fitness Instructor Training Program.

Shape Up NYC: Yoga

Yoga practice is meditative movement, a training to cultivate greater focus, stability, ease, and self-control of both body and mind.  Through a series of stretching exercises linked with breathing techniques, this class will guide you in developing better posture, flexibility, alignment, and strength.  Though open to everyone, it is especially designed for those who may be wishing to explore yoga for the first time, with more advanced cueing offered to more advanced students.  Welcome!

A moderate, heart-pumping complete body workout to help burn calories and improve heart health. This class is taught by an instructor who is part of the Shape Up NYC Fitness Instructor Training Program.

Shape Up NYC: Body Weight Conditioning

This class is a mixture of kickboxing and calisthenics. Participants will use their own bodies as weights for exercises such as push ups, sit ups, squats, donkey kicks and lunges. Music that will be played is hip hop, dancehall, pop and alternative music. Come prepared with a towel and a huge bottle of water and let's have fun being active! This class is taught by an instructor who is part of the Shape Up NYC Fitness Instructor Training Program.
