Cruise ships, Intrepid, will eventually return, sanitation, and shipping facilities.

Hazardous Launch/Landing Conditions:

Very high docks. Strong currents. Commercial traffic and ferries.

Currents:

Strong at times. Paddlers must be aware of tidal influence.

Emergency Landing Points:

Pier 96 (.5 miles) and 79th Street Boat Basin (1.5 miles)
