Winter Holidays
Spend some time in New York City's winter wonderlands this holiday season. To welcome in the season, Parks will be celebrating with music, art, history, and more! Come join us as we bring a little extra joy to everyone in the family, and be sure to read our history of holiday celebrations in parks before heading to the event of your choice!
This winter, make your gift a green one! You can get gifts and ideas at any of our holiday shops, or:
- Give the Gift of Health! Recreation Center Gift memberships are now available at indoor recreation facilities citywide. Call individual recreation centers for details.
- Buy a tree! New York Restoration Project has joined Parks in supporting MillionTreesNYC, and this is your chance to help us reach our goal! Gift a tree in a loved one's name this holiday season and they will receive a commemorative certificate signed by NYRP Founder Bette Midler and New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg.
- Adopt a Bench! For a donation beginning at $2500, we will install a personalized message on a plaque on your favorite park bench. Show someone you care, and help keep our parks clean and green!
