Returning to the Poe Park Visitor Center Robert Rossi will be performing a musical adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's poem "Annabel Lee." Adhering to the belief that Poe's poem is about his late wife Virginia, Rossi adapts the poem as a medieval love ballad, one that the speaker in the work unfortunately must sing alone. Rossi's adaptation was originally penned to honor the late poet on his birthday. "Annabel Lee" is one of Rossi's favorite works by Poe and he adapts it musically with utmost admiration and sincerity.
