Volunteer to Compost in Sherman Creek

Help process food scraps collected from the neighboring Inwood Greenmarket and learn about how the Sherman Creek Compost site keeps nutrient–rich compostable materials from ending up in landfills.

Sift finished compost so that it can be used to amend poor soils and help new plantings around New York Restoration Project’s parks and gardens.
