Six-Legged Wonders

Friday, August 1, 2014

2:00 p.m.

Summer is a great time to discover some of the Greenbelt’s smallest residents.

From brilliant butterflies to chirping crickets, lots of insects can be found crawling and flying through the forest.  First, we will learn what makes an insect and insect.  Next, we will go outside on a short walk in search of insects.  Finally, we will create our very own insect to take home.

Program is suitable for ages 4-8.  Registration is required.
