CANCELLED: New York Philharmonic: Concerts in the Parks with Fireworks
Tuesday, July 15, 2014
8:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.
Due to the weather forecast for thunderstorms this afternoon and evening, and out of concern for the safety of the audience and the musicians, NYC Parks, in consultation with the NYPD and the New York Philharmonic, has made the decision to cancel this evening's performance of the New York Philharmonic at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx. The concert will not be rescheduled. Public safety is our highest priority and the risk of significant weather requires the unfortunate cancellation of this outdoor event.
This outdoor concert on the Parade Ground ends with fireworks.
