Youth Moves Movement Workshop Series

A series of family-friendly movement workshops rooted in basic concepts presented by two Brooklyn-based dance companies—Urban Bush Women and Cora Dance. Takes place at two NYRP gardens in Bed-Stuy.

Everyone can hip hop! Discover the rhythm inside you! Taught by Cora Dance, this youth series will focus on hip hop movement. Recommended for ages 9 and up.

  • July 5 – Jane Bailey Memorial Garden (327-329 Greene Avenue, Bedford-Stuyvesant)
  • July 19 – Jane Bailey Memorial Garden
  • August 2 – Garden of Hope (392 Hancock Street, Bedford-Stuyvesant)     

Led by Urban Bush Women, Kinetic Kids will explore creative movement through dance games. Appropriate for ages 5 – 12.
