Many native wildflowers are a rarity in New York City.  Fortunately, a wide variety of these species, from common flowers of the urban landscape to rare forest dwellers, can be found in Sherman Creek Park’s native gardens. Join us for a walk in the woods to tour the park, look out for native wildflowers and to learn about the specific environmental conditions that these plants need to survive.
