The Duke Ellington Center for the Arts, led by Mercedes Ellington—the granddaughter of the late, great jazz pianist composer and orchestra leader, "Duke" Edward Kennedy Ellington (1899-1974)—will present a concert marking wha would have been his 115th birthday on April 29.

Enjoy music from Jazz at Lincoln Center's Middle School Jazz Academy and The Youth Workshop Band. Also performing are singers Antoinette Montague and Tony Ponella, tap master Tony Waag of the American Tap Dance Foundation, and swing dancers Christina Isaksen and Andrew Willens. The program will conclude with a finale by the Manhattan School of Music's Afro-Cuban Jazz Orchestra, conducted by Bobby Sanabria.
