Heavy ice and snow can cause hazardous conditions in parks, including falling branches and treacherous frozen park paths. NYC Parks advises New Yorkers to avoid using parks until Wednesday morning, when we will provide an update on park conditions.

Enjoy a display of stunning orchids (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.), along with children's activities (10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.), garden tour (1:00 p.m.), and live musical performance (2:30 p.m.).  Plus enjoy tea and a sampling of Taiwanese treats, while supplies last. Presented in partnership with the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office.

Visit again on Sunday for Queens Botanical Garden's plant and orchid sale!
