Volunteer to Install Deer Browse Guards at Pelham Bay Park

Volunteer with Natural Areas Volunteers (NAV) at Pelham Bay Park to help protect our young trees from deer browse. Volunteers will be trained in proper fitting and installation of tree guards. These tree guards will prevent deer from rubbing and feeding on young trees. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes and warm clothing that can get dirty. Please meet your NAV Technical Leader at the North end of Orchard Beach parking lot.

Space is limited. Registration is required for this event.
