Important Winter Storm-Related Service Changes

New York City parks are now open. We continue to urge caution in parks under wintry conditions: parks paths can be slippery, snow cover can cover frozen lakes and bodies of water, and branches may have fallen. If you see a fallen branch call 311.

Some recreation centers will open from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. today with limited staffing.

Pugsley Creek Goose Fencing Restoration

Volunteer with Natural Areas Volunteers (NAV) at Pugsley Creek to help protect a newly restored salt marsh.

Volunteers will learn about the importance of the marsh while helping to install temporary fencing and reflective flagging to discourage geese from landing and eating our newly planted vegetation.

Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes and warm clothing that can get dirty.

Space is limited. Registration is required for this event.
