Please note: This event has already taken place. Please use the Search options on the right to find upcoming events.

Cover crops are grown to replenish the soil and prevent erosion.

In this workshop, we will discuss  the role of cover crops in enhancing soil health, talk about recommended crop choices, and practice sowing seed.  We will also till under a cover crop that was planted in the Fall, and demonstrate how to plant a cover crop for seasonal rotations.

Grow to Learn registered schools will receive cover crop seeds; first come, first served, while supplies last.

Please RSVP for this workshop.
