The Basics of Video Storytelling
Saturday, January 11, 2014
12:30 p.m.–2:30 a.m.
Many of us are busy at work in our school gardens, and we don't take the time to share this uplifting experience with our school community. There's a natural drama in the seasons of a garden, the thoughtful composting in the fall, the patience of the winter, expectations while planting in the spring, and the celebratory harvest in the summer. Increasingly, people are communicating with video from smartphones and small HD cameras to share ideas and tell stories.Take an afternoon with the Leave It Better crew, as they provide hands-on instruction of how to start the process of successfully documenting your school garden through visual storytelling.
Grow to Learn registered schools only may request soil, compost, and lumber for spring delivery.
Please RSVP for this workshop.
