Important Winter Storm-Related Service Changes

New York City parks are now open. We continue to urge caution in parks under wintry conditions: parks paths can be slippery, snow cover can cover frozen lakes and bodies of water, and branches may have fallen. If you see a fallen branch call 311.

Some recreation centers will open from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. today with limited staffing.

Central Park Tour: Mid-Park Welcome Tour

Explore the park’s central features, including the Lake and Ramble woodland, then marvel at the views from Belvedere Castle.

Route involves many hills, stairs, and uneven paths. Tours take place rain or shine, except in extreme weather conditions (heavy rain, sustained winds of 30 m.p.h. or more, snowstorms, and a wind chill below 25 degrees or heat index above 95 degrees).
