NYC Parks urges caution during the snow storm predicted for Monday afternoon through Tuesday evening. Heavy ice and snow can cause hazardous conditions in parks, including falling branches and treacherous frozen park paths. NYC Parks advises New Yorkers to avoid using parks until Wednesday morning, when we will provide an update on park conditions.

Annual Holiday Celebration of Lights

Everyone  is invited to the annual Holiday Interfaith Celebration!

Tree lighting at 7 p.m. will be presided over by NYC Parks Manhattan Borough Commissioner William Castro, with an after-party in the Pelham Fritz Recreation Center.

Enjoy a very special performance by BROTHER NUM + Friends! BROTHER NUM was the percussionist for Burning Spear and has performed with Roy Ayers, Tito Puente, Carlos Santana, BB King, Aretha Franklin, Common, The Wailers, Third World,  Al Jarreau, Brian McKnight, George Clinton, India Arie and Toni Braxton.
