NYC Parks urges caution during the snow storm predicted for Monday afternoon through Tuesday evening. Heavy ice and snow can cause hazardous conditions in parks, including falling branches and treacherous frozen park paths. NYC Parks advises New Yorkers to avoid using parks until Wednesday morning, when we will provide an update on park conditions.

Celebrate the lighting of Brooklyn's largest menorah!

Join Rabbi Shimon Hecht,  community leaders, philanthropists and special guests, in lighting the 32-foot-tall menorah, which has been towering over Grand Army Plaza since 1985.

Enjoy hot latkes and live music each night. Special gifts are distributed to every child.
