Seed saving is a timeless way to keep food traditions alive, reduce materials costs, and to promote and protect biodiversity and food sovereignty. Participants will leave the workshop with a tool kit with information on how to build their own basic seed saving equipment and how to save and distribute seeds on a community scale. In preparation, we invite you all to save your seeds and catalogue them.  This workshop is presented by Eric-Michael Rodriguez, Curator of Living Cultivations and Farm Manager at Weeksville Heritage Center, in partnership with GreenThumb.

Please RSVP with Mr. Rodriguez at eric@weeksvillesociety.org or call (718) 756-5250 .
