NYC Parks urges caution during the snow storm predicted for Monday afternoon through Tuesday evening. Heavy ice and snow can cause hazardous conditions in parks, including falling branches and treacherous frozen park paths. NYC Parks advises New Yorkers to avoid using parks until Wednesday morning, when we will provide an update on park conditions.

Celebrate 100 years of the XC trail and two years of BronxNet television at this 5k Fun Run. Come in costume if you dare! CUNYAC provides the officials. Proceeds from this event will go to Van Cortlandt Park Conservancy storm resiliency efforts, hiring specalized staff to keep XC paths passable after storms and stave off erosion.
