Our Feathered Friends: From Fall Migrants to FeederWatch

Bird's the word! Join us for a presentation on the birds you can see in the flying through the Greenbelt now, such as warblers and hawks, and our friends who will be visiting the bird feeders in a few weeks, such as juncos, woodpeckers, and cardinals. Learn how you can monitor birds from your backyard or window and participate in the citizen science program, Project FeederWatch, whose monitoring season begins in November. Join us for a short hike through the autumn forest in search of seasonal migrants and year round residents of the Greenbelt.Suitable for ages 8 and up. Registration required.
