Bird's the word! Join us for a presentation on the birds you can see in the flying through the Greenbelt now, such as warblers and hawks, and our friends who will be visiting the bird feeders in a few weeks, such as juncos, woodpeckers, and cardinals. Learn how you can monitor birds from your backyard or window and participate in the citizen science program, Project FeederWatch www.birds.cornell.edu/pfw, whose monitoring season begins in November. Join us for a short hike through the autumn forest in search of seasonal migrants and year round residents of the Greenbelt.Suitable for ages 8 and up. Registration required.
