The Judge Jacob Tysen House was built in 1835. The tall portico with fluted columns and composite capitals makes an impreessive statement of the Greek Revival style. In the main hall, the stairway reaches to the third floor. Door and window trim and marble mantels are fine examples of craftsmanship.
Tours at 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m.
This event is part of the Historic House Trust of New York City's 6th Annual Fall Festival.
