Important Winter Storm-Related Service Changes

New York City parks are now open. We continue to urge caution in parks under wintry conditions: parks paths can be slippery, snow cover can cover frozen lakes and bodies of water, and branches may have fallen. If you see a fallen branch call 311.

Some recreation centers will open from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. today with limited staffing.

Central Park Tour: The Ramble

Pass over streams and under arches on a maze of pathways in this secluded, 38-acre woodland on this route, which involves many hills and stairs.

Please arrive at the meeting location 15 minutes before the start of the tour to allow time for check in and audio equipment set up. For the courtesy of other guests, those arriving after the start time cannot be accommodated.

Tours take place rain or shine, except in extreme weather conditions.

NOTE: Groups of seven or more must schedule a custom tour three weeks in advance at tours@centralparknyc.org or (212) 360-2726.

Cost

Tickets: $15 per person. Central Park Conservancy members: $10 per person. Tickets available for purchase onsite with credit card only. All ticket sales are final.
