NYC Parks urges caution during the snow storm predicted for Monday afternoon through Tuesday evening. Heavy ice and snow can cause hazardous conditions in parks, including falling branches and treacherous frozen park paths. NYC Parks advises New Yorkers to avoid using parks until Wednesday morning, when we will provide an update on park conditions.

This event repeats every day between 9/19/2013 and 9/29/2013.

PHOTOVILLE will be a feisty mix of exhibitions, lectures, hands-on workshops, nighttime projections, photo dog run, and a summer beer-garden that will create a photographic destination like no other at Pier 5.
This exciting new public art experience is presented by Photo District News, United Photo Industries, and Brooklyn Bridge Park.
In addition to PHOTOVILLE, THE FENCE at PHOTOVILLE will be a public photographic installation like no other. The park's greenway fence will become an outdoor photo gallery, celebrating the essence of "Community: Home/Street/People/Creatures/Play." Photographers of all levels are invited to submit images that fit into the "Community" theme.
