Griots in Concert

A “Griot”, or traditional drummer & story teller, is the person who guards the history & culture of a people & is accountable for passing down the oral tradition throughout the generations. “Griots In Concert” continues this tradition by employing an inspirational  & motivating performance of stories, music & song from Africa, the Caribbean & America. Because of the traditional history of the Griot, a wide range of topics are addressed, such as self-esteem, ecology, & cultural appreciation. The result is a an educational and entertaining presentation suitable for all ages.
