Important Winter Storm-Related Service Changes

New York City parks are now open. We continue to urge caution in parks under wintry conditions: parks paths can be slippery, snow cover can cover frozen lakes and bodies of water, and branches may have fallen. If you see a fallen branch call 311.

Some recreation centers will open from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. today with limited staffing.

Help the Poe Park Visitor Center gather people’s knowledge, skills, ideas, and dreams for what they’d like to learn, do, and explore at The Poe Park Visitor Center and how that connects to the larger community. The project features a fun, interactive wall mural where people can share what’s important to them in the community, what’s missing, and even what they can bring to the table to make the community a healthy place to live, work, and play. Learn how you can contribute to new programs, classes, or activities by sharing your ideas and skills.
