Heavy ice and snow can cause hazardous conditions in parks, including falling branches and treacherous frozen park paths. NYC Parks advises New Yorkers to avoid using parks until Wednesday morning, when we will provide an update on park conditions.

Get your feet wet on this beginner’s paddle on the outgoing tide along the shores of Floyd Bennett Field. Land at the Seaplane Ramp and then enjoy a guided walk back to the start. Open to all, ages 6 and up with an adult. Reservations required; call for more information and to reserve. (.75 miles)
