Celebrate our waterfront with a day of entertainment, education and adventure for the whole family!  Activities include kayaking, water-themed art projects, and seining. Coordinated with Metropolitan Waterfront Alliance. For more information, visit http://www.cityofwaterday.org/.

Get out on the water for kayaking with the Brooklyn Bridge Park Boathouse, located between Piers 1 and 2 (across from the Pop-Up Pool)!

Wildlife Theater: Perfectly Penguin
Why would a wild polar bear never eat a penguin? Find out the answer and learn many other facts about penguins and their amazing adaptations in the interactive show "A Penguin State of Mind." Kids also learn about the importance of conservation as it relates to a polar habitat thousands of miles away.

Join Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy and Coastal Marine Resource Center staff members as they use a 20 ft seining net to catch and identify remarkable East River creatures before releasing them back to the river.
