Heavy ice and snow can cause hazardous conditions in parks, including falling branches and treacherous frozen park paths. A high point of each Sunset Wednesday includes live music performed by Bronx musicians on the grassy expanse of the Great Lawn, overlooking the majestic Palisades. Tonight’s performers, veteran Afro-Central American musicians who now live in New York City, are one of the best bands specializing in traditional punta, punta rock, paranda and other Garifuna rhythms. Free with admission to the grounds.
