Experience a new, cutting-edge fitness practice: Nia. This special edition of the class is led by creator Debbie Rosas.
Nia is a sensory-based movement practice that draws from martial arts, dance and yoga. Typically Nia classes consist of 55 minutes of movement to diverse music. Every Nia class has seven cycles beginning with a focus and intent, combining 52 moves that correspond with the body's base, core and upper extremities.
Bring your own mat. Classes are limited to 75 people on a first come, first served basis.
Nia classes are offered every Wednesday for free through Shape Up NYC.
