NYC Parks urges caution during the snow storm predicted for Monday afternoon through Tuesday evening. Heavy ice and snow can cause hazardous conditions in parks, including falling branches and treacherous frozen park paths. NYC Parks advises New Yorkers to avoid using parks until Wednesday morning, when we will provide an update on park conditions.

We have several big trees left to get in the ground as soon as possible (for the sake of the trees). If you would like to help on this project, please call or e-mail Donna Piluso by Wednesday night. We will provide tools, instruction, and assistance. We will plant and water the trees.
