By becoming a NAVigator, you can help young trees grow into healthy forests. NAVigators are needed to help weed and monitor new reforestation plantings, and will be trained in invasive weed identification and removal techniques. NAVigators must attend 3 training sessions and commit to volunteer 12 hours over the summer in weeding reforestation sites. All training and tools are provided by NYC Parks. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long pants and clothing that can get dirty. Please meet your NAV Tech lead at East 238th Street & Van Cortlandt Park East. Space is limited.
