Heavy ice and snow can cause hazardous conditions in parks, including falling branches and treacherous frozen park paths. NYC Parks advises New Yorkers to avoid using parks until Wednesday morning, when we will provide an update on park conditions.

Join the Gowanus Canal Conservancy for a day of environmental clean-up!

At this Clean & Green day Conservancy volunteers will conduct tree stewardship activities along the 3rd Avenue corridor as well as garden maintenance on Degraw Street.  We will also release a colony of bees into their newly assembled hives.  Please wear closed toed shoes and dress for gardening activities.
