Heavy ice and snow can cause hazardous conditions in parks, including falling branches and treacherous frozen park paths. NYC Parks advises New Yorkers to avoid using parks until Wednesday morning, when we will provide an update on park conditions.

 Join the Greenbelt educators for a two hour hike through the central Greenbelt to celebrate the season that has passed and look for signs that spring has come. This walk includes a brief visit to the LaTourette house. Suitable for ages 8 and up. Dress appropriately for hiking and for the weather conditions. This program is sponsored by Councilman Vincent Ignizio. Registration required.
