Important Winter Storm-Related Service Changes

New York City parks are now open. We continue to urge caution in parks under wintry conditions: parks paths can be slippery, snow cover can cover frozen lakes and bodies of water, and branches may have fallen. If you see a fallen branch call 311.

Some recreation centers will open from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. today with limited staffing.

Hattie Carthan Community Garden - Changing the Stories of Our Lives

Sunday, March 17, 2013

11:00 a.m.2:00 p.m.

Please note: This event has already taken place. Please use the Search options on the right to find upcoming events.

Please bring the stories of powerful women who have set the template for our civilization for our timeline exercise and a blanket for the journey as many of these stories are quite cold. This journey will end in a symbolic burning of the stories and hurtful words that prevent us from living to our highest potential and an intentional circle where we create new stories for our lives.

Facilitated by Bedstuy Women Ssecurity Conference founder Yonnette Fleming.

Please bring a dish for our potluck.
