Please note: This event has already taken place. Please use the Search options on the right to find upcoming events.
Join us for a drawing workshop where Bronx teens will get to experience drawing from live model. A variety of costumes will be incorporated with the live model. Teens will get a hands on lesson on the human anatomy, drawing dynamic wrinkles and drawing in proportion.
This event is a part of Living in Sequence, a comic book exhibition celebrating Poe Park's place in comic history. Bob Kane, Bill Finger and Jerry Robinson once created Batman, Robin and the Joker while sitting on a park bench in Poe Park. Living in Sequence will take you on a journey from the golden age of comics through today, demonstrating how the American art form of comics still thrives in the Bronx.
