Come help Natural Areas Volunteers harvest live wood from willow and dogwood shrubs. Get the chance to learn why the Bronx River is so important to our local ecosystem! Volunteers will help cut and gather live branches. These branches will then be planted in the month of March for a bioengineering project to help stabilize an eroding bank along the Bronx River. Come dressed in closed-toe shoes, long pants and clothing that can get dirty.
Space is limited, and registration is required.
