Heavy ice and snow can cause hazardous conditions in parks, including falling branches and treacherous frozen park paths. NYC Parks advises New Yorkers to avoid using parks until Wednesday morning, when we will provide an update on park conditions.

Learn more about the magnificent mammal this day is named for. Hear the tale of Phyllis the Groundhog, make a craft, and take a short walk in search of mammals that live in the Greenbelt. This program is suitable for ages 4-8 with adult chaperone. Registration and pre-payment required.
