New Yorkers Nancy Berner and Magda Salvesen are garden explorers who have each produced essential guidebooks to distinctive gardens large and small, famous and little-known. The books complement one another in scope, together featuring hundreds of gardens from lower Manhattan to the Hudson Valley and beyond. Their revealing descriptions, beautiful images and intriguing tales provide garden lovers all they need to know to plan and enjoy their own delightful day trips and extended journeys.
