Chess Program: Beginners Lecture & Open Play Session in Central Park

Learn to play the game of kings with professional chess teacher Jeff Kelleher. This second lecture in our series will focus on basic checkmate techniques. Following the lecture, you can apply your newly aquired knowledge in the open play session under the tutelage of Jeff.

This program is part of the Conservancy's annual summer chess program. Recommended for ages 6+. Chess pieces are available to borrow at the front desk of the visitor center.
