Join MillionTreesNYC in flower planting and help care for street trees beautify Sunnyside, Queens.

At the workshop you will learn:

What is MillionTreesNYC?
the benefits trees bring to our city
What makes life hard for our street trees
Tree Care – Water, Weed, Mulch, Protect, and Beautify

This is an all weather event (rain or shine!), so please dress accordingly and wear closed-toe shoes. Participation and completion of a tree adoption pledge are required to receive a free tree care stewardship kit, which includes: a bucket or hosepipe, hand trowel, soil cultivator, weeding tool, gloves, and a tree care manual.
