Are you ready to learn the special skills required to run your own tree stewardship workshop? Attend a Train the Trainer workshop near you!

Since the MillionTreesNYC campaign started, over 500,000 trees have been planted across the city’s five boroughs, more than 60,000 just on city streets. Help us take care of these newly planted trees and train additional tree stewards by attending a Train the Trainer workshop, where you will learn:

  • All the steps to running a workshop
  • Seasonally specific tree care strategies and tips
  • Community organizing and event coordination skills
  • In-depth understanding of the MillionTreesNYC initiative

New Yorkers who are interested in leading local tree stewardship, who commit to planning a community tree care event engaging at least 10 community members and caring for at least 5 trees. Train the Trainer is a good fit for block associations, classrooms, neighborhood groups or other civic organizations. Register for an upcoming Train the Trainer, or email stewards@milliontreesnyc.org and indicate which workshop you will attend.
