The Black Latin Beat

As part of the Black History Month celebration of African-American culture, this event will show how Blacks and Latinos are connected through history. There will be a brief documentary presentation on TV explaining the history and roots of “Afro-Latins,” including personal memories of famous Latin artists and athletes about them growing up as “African-Americans.” Light refreshments will be served.
