Beginning at 6pm to coincide with sunset, the MWA Parade of Boats will feature fireboats, Coast Guard Cutters, kayaks and everything in between. The public is invited to gather on Pier 62 in Hudson River Park to view the maritime spectacle and enjoy expert narration giving the story of each vessel. With sunset expected at 6:22 pm, the ships and boats will remain briefly at rest near Chelsea Piers – presenting a perfect opportunity for photographs -- before dispersing.

This year’s Parade of Boats will be the largest yet, with over 28 vessels, including two large United States Coast Guard Cutters, large classic yachts, passenger ferries, historic, educational and excursion boats, kayaks, and more. The on-water festivities will be capped off with a water display from the city’s newest fireboat, Three Forty Three.
