Friends of Soundview Park invite you to celebrate the 26th Annual International Coastal Cleanup Day and the 15th Annual Family Health & Fitness Day USA with free activities for all ages!
Schedule of Events
9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.: Coastal Cleanup with the Bronx River Alliance.
(meet at the corner of Leland & O'Brien Avenues; or at end of Randall Avenue; or at Morrison & Lafayette Avenues)
All other activities will take place at the entrance of Morrison & Lafayette Avenues.
- 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.: Health and fitness programming.
- Noon - 3:00 p.m.: So Near and Yet So Far
An interactive artwork on the waterfront by Christina Kelly and Gena Wirth. - 1:30 p.m.: Puppet-making workshop with City Parks Foundation.
- 2:30 p.m.: CityParks PuppetMobile presents "Bessie's Big Shot"
Location
