Join us for a ‘Great Tree’ walk in historic Port Richmond, Staten Island.
This ethnically diverse and architecturally rich North Shore Staten Island neighborhood also has many wonderful trees on growing along its streets, on its front lawns and in its parks. The tour will highlight a venerable tulip poplar, a majestic pin oak and a graceful black cherry, along with many great trees.
No reservations are required - just show up at 2 p.m. for this wonderful opportunity to explore this unique part of New York City’s urban forest!

The meeting place will be in front of the school, at the corner of Innis Street and Nicholas Avenue. This event is also reachable via MTA's S40 bus, which can be taken from the Staten Island Ferry's St. George terminal.
