Silver Roots will perform Echoing Voices: A Musical History of America at the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum as the museum’s final offering in its First Friday! Bronx Beat at Bartow-Pell summer series. The museum, at 895 Shore Road in the Bronx, is open to the public from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the first Friday of each month and the free Bronx Seaside Trolley makes a continuous loop from the Pelham Bay Park #6 subway station to the mansion and then on to City Island.

Silver Roots was founded by Juilliard graduates Maria Millar and Shawn Wyckoff. They are joined by cellist Adrian Daurov to present Echoing Voices: A Musical History of America on flute, violin and cello. Echoing Voices focuses on the music of immigrants from Europe, Russia, China, and elsewhere through their stories of coming to America.

Silver Roots has performed at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, The Cathedral of St. John the Divine, the United Nations, Discovery Times Square Exposition, and The Juilliard School.
